The third CD goes into the singer-songwriter era, and includes such well-known singers as Jim Croce and Harry Chapin. This CD tends to have songs with more orchestration - i.e. not just a performer and his/her guitar. The second CD has more of a range and also shows the influence of acoustic blues, jug bands and rock (Arlo Guthrie) on folk music/5(3).
